“The process of designing and transforming a space evolves much like one would approach a painting. I am guided by the space, the lay of the land, the materials and the relationship to the surrounding landscape. Like painting, the composition, structure and layout of a planting scheme is integral. Every garden is unique and can be improved with a little thought. In my designs the idiosyncrasies of a site are embraced, turning a perceived problem into a unique and exciting opportunity.."
